Needs + challenges
De Bruyn’s Transport services the mining logistics, aquaculture, heavy general freight and bulk goods sectors. A family-owned company founded in 1965, it has grown to become one of the largest logistics providers in Tasmania, operating 150 heavy vehicles and 300 trailers. The company needed new state-of-the-art facilities to support its expanding operations, including:
- A spacious and versatile workshop to handle heavy machinery.
- A 5-tonne crane to assist with lifting equipment that couldn’t be moved manually.
- A tailored wash bay, fuel station and warehouses for cool and dry storage.
- An ice making facility.
- A durable, high-quality construction.
The challenge was delivering a purpose-built facility quickly and efficiently with minimal disruption to their busy operations.
