Common bay spacings are 6m, 7.5m and 8m. These spacings work well for common round bales or large square bales such as 5' x 4' and 8' x 3' x 3'.

Height is no issue for the Bison structure, with common heights being 4mH for 3 round bales high, 5mH for 4 bales high and up to 8mH for 6 round bales high.
