OVERVIEW
James Clements is the Farm Manager at Wandin Valley Farms. Wandin Valley is a 64 hectare cherry orchard in the Derwent Valley, Tasmania. James has worked for Wandin Valley for some years now and has seen the business grow to what it has become today. Wandin Valley grow 16 different varieties of cherries. At harvest time, which usually starts mid December, they will have around 100 pickers at their peak.
We first worked with James in 2018 on a smaller project, his passion and dedication to the farm and to the business is evident in all that he does. As the business continued to expand, so did their need for a more sustainable, functionable building. James says "they did such a good job with the smaller shed that for this bigger project we went straight to Bison, we didn't talk to anyone else".
We believe this building has many benefits, not only for the delicious end product, but for the Wandin staff as well. It was such great pleasure working along side James and the Wandin team to achieve a result we can all be proud of.
